Confait, M.D. We also have two satellite offices to better serve our patients. These offices include the Butler Eye Center in Butler, Alabama and the Livingston Eye Center in Livingston, Alabama.

Our clinic takes great pride in providing state of the art diagnostic and surgical services for our patients. We were the first in the area to offer clear cornea, topical anesthesia cataract surgery. We were the also the first to offer Laser Vision Correction. Our CustomVue Wavescanner was the first in-house unit in Mississippi, and we are the only center in the area offering Intralase bladeless refractive surgery.

We are also proud to offer sub-specialty care in our Meridian office. Board certified retinal specialists, Ching J. Chen, M.D., Albert Lin, M.D., and Brian Tieu, M.D., PhD, from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, provide retinal services at our central office.

The Importance of Patient Education

A key part of preventing a health care problem from progressing is being aware as to how they can develop. We strongly believe that patient education is an important part of the services we provide. In addition to talking with our patients during their exams, we have a ready supply of patient education materials such as brochures and information sheets in our office. We encourage our patients to read about their condition and ask us questions about how to stay healthy.
